    Wapping was once a hive of trading activity, with ships unloading cargo from the farthest corners of the world. Redevelopment of the area started in the 1980s and continues to this day. Many of the area's old warehouses are now highly sought-after apartments, popular with City and Canary Wharf workers. There are superb transport links from various stations in the area, but you can walk to Bank in around 20 minutes.

    Wapping retains its quiet, village atmosphere, but there's still plenty going on. St Katherine's Docks is filled with bars and restaurants, and its marina houses up to 160 luxury yachts. At Shadwell Basin you'll find one of the oldest Thames-side pubs, The Prospect of Whitby, which dates back to the sixteenth century.

      I recently sold my property via your Wapping office and wanted to share my experience. We formerly had the property on the market with another agent in Wapping for a period of 3 months and they achieved approximately 4 viewings during that entire time. My financial advisor suggested that I connect with Amy from your Wapping office and I diligently did; this was one of the best decisions I made around the sale as Amy's support and guidance was beyond my expectations. As we do not live in London we had to rely on Amy and her team to completely look after our flat during the sales process. This included attending to a burglar alarm that went off and letting in a gas engineer who required access to the flat.
