    Hockeys heritage is unquestionable. Established in Cambridge in 1885 by William T. Hockey, the firm has been selling homes in the city and surrounding villages for over 130 years.

    You will find that our staff are as people-motivated as they are sales-motivated and we will take the time to get to know our clients, their property and their aspirations.

    Of course, if you are selling your home through us then our main priority is to put all our efforts into achieving a smooth sale and at the best price.

    Jeremy Trott
    Jeremy Trott is a seasoned estate agent with over 28 years of experience in the industry.

     He began his career as a trainee sales negotiator in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, and quickly advanced to the position of valuer within a year at a busy city centre office in Ipswich. 

    His dedication and skill led to further promotions, including Branch Manager roles in Bury St Edmunds, Huntingdon, and Cambridge, where he was recognized for his ability to revitalize underperforming branches.

    In 2008, Jeremy was promoted to Area Manager, overseeing four offices in Cambridge, which later expanded to eleven offices across East Anglia.

    In 2011, he joined Hockeys as an associate, opening the Willingham office in 2012 and re-opening the Cambridge office in 2019. 

    Having grown up in Linton, Cambridgeshire, Jeremy now resides in the town of Soham. 

    His extensive experience and deep roots in the region have established him as a prominent figure in the local real estate market.

    John Sherman, Sales Negotiator/Valuer
    Having worked predominantly in the hospitality industry for 16 years in a range of Management positions, from Michelin Star restaurants to Irish pubs, in and around Cambridgeshire, Switzerland and London, John has plenty of experience in fast-paced, people-facing roles.

    Since settling in Linton in 2022, John has looked to change career and joined the Linton branch in May 2024.

    He thrives on interacting with people and is looking forward to using his knowledge of the local area to apply a personal touch when dealing with clients.

    In his spare time, John enjoys running, reading and learning languages.

    Alfie is a highly motivated and hardworking professional with a wealth of customer service experience, having begun his career in hospitality.

    These customer-facing roles have honed his communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, which he applies to all aspects of his professional life.

    Before transitioning into the estate agency sector, Alfie worked with a local builder, where he excelled in selling building services, fostering strong client relationships, and successfully securing new business opportunities.

    His diverse background has equipped him with a strong work ethic, a talent for building rapport, and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional service.

    Outside of work, Alfie is passionate about staying active, regularly attending the gym, and has a keen interest in cars, reflecting his attention to detail and dedication to personal growth.
