    Jeremy Trott, Director

Jeremy has been an estate agent for over twenty years and started his trade as a trainee sales negotiator in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Within one year he was promoted to the position of valuer, in a busy city centre office in Ipswich, before being promoted again a few years later to become a branch manager.

Jeremy's first branch was in Bury St Edmunds, but he was later asked to manage the Huntingdon and Cambridge offices as his employer recognised his ability to turn around under performing estate agency branches.

Another promotion came in 2008 when Jeremy was offered the position of area manager, starting with four offices in Cambridge and then onto eleven offices across East Anglia.

In 2011 Jeremy was offered the opportunity of joining Hockeys as an associate before opening up the Willingham office in 2012.

Now, five years later, Jeremy is the proprietor of Hockeys, along with his wife Samantha. After growing up in Linton, Cambridgeshire and having lived in Milton, Swavesey and Over, he now has now settled in the village of Pidley, Cambridgeshire.

    Harriet Harvey, Branch Partner

In 2018 Harriet moved from a local competitor after 19 years; eight of those years working in direct competition with her new business partner, Jeremy Trott.

Coming from a corporate background, she explains, "I am looking forward to using my unique skills to complement the traditional style of service at the family-run business, with the aim of moving forward and expanding further. Jeremy and I share a passion for giving customers the very best experience; moving house is not just about customer service - we are privileged to be a part of people's lives, sometimes over the course of many years".

Living in the local area for more than 13 years, Harriet has worked predominantly in the villages during this time and has been actively involved with community events and sponsoring local causes.

Her reputation for success at selling houses is undisputed. "Time and time again, as estate agents, we find ourselves re-entering people's lives", she explains. "Sometimes it is for exciting reasons and other times house moves come as a result of more challenging situations and whatever the circumstances, it is impossible not to build relationships with clients that don't last, especially in an area like this and at a time of growth and change".

    Ben Osborne, Sales Manager
Having worked at a local competitor for a number of years where Ben received several promotions and awards, he decided to join the Hockeys Team in June 2019.

Ben grew up in Waterbeach, where his parents still live, and currently lives in Over with his wife Hayley, son Boaz and dog Kaya.

Having always lived locally it has given Ben a great knowledge of the local area, that has helped him forge a successful career as an estate agent.

"I really love the job, no two days are ever the same and you meet different people everyday. I have become friends with a lot of buyers and sellers that I have dealt with over the years, which is great. It is the most satisfying feeling helping people move to their next home or to secure their first, the feeling you get when you give a buyer the keys to their new home is a big reason why I love the job."

    • Buyer Testimonial

      Would highly recommend Hockeys

"We used Hockeys for a recent purchase of a property in Cambridge. As first time buyers, the process of a house purchase was both novel and complex. The team at Hockeys were fantastic, particularly Alex Milne who worked very hard to make sure that we were fully briefed on the process, kept updated on the status of our purchase, and would try and get updates for us when the process went quiet. Our purchase was quite lengthy due to other buyers within the chain, and despite frustrations Alex was constantly positive and reassured us when we felt frustrated. We would highly recommend Hockeys and their team for any purchases or sales that you may have"
