    David Mear - Head of Lettings
    I was born and raised in Surrey and, after gaining a Diploma in Business and Finance at the University of Central England, the early part of my career was in Area and Regional sales roles for non-property related businesses. A change of path took me to live in Spain where I fell into property sales and lettings. Soon after I set up my own lettings agent over there which I owned for 10 years before I sold it in 2013 to make the move to Yorkshire. That company is still letting property in the sun today! Recruited by Will Linley and Nick Simpson initially as Branch Manager of the Horsforth branch I progressed over the years to become firstly Area Lettings Manager, and then latterly Head of Lettings.

    I initially joined the Linley and Simpson team in Ilkley after a short stint with another Yorkshire agent in 2019, before returning to Bingley early 2020 to assist with the merger of Inghams and Henleys and progressing to my current position. Having always lived and worked within the Aire Valley, I am passionate about the area and future investment which is reflected in my daily work. I will regularly work with and notify landlords investors of ideal rental investment properties within our area depending on their own individual requirements and budget.
