We were not disappointed with Middletons. The service they provided was above and beyond. From the initial valuation through to the quality and number of images used in the house brochure everything exceeded our expectations. After the death of my mother, I needed to get three estimates for probate. However I was told some agents charged for this service. Middletons like two others in Melton did not. I therefore used Middletons for an estimate, and they were very professional and even though I thought they had overpriced the property, they were happy to take me view and a compromise was achieved and they were tasked with the sale. Even though I lived 100 miles away, I was kept updated with regular contact. Then Lockdown, but still I received regular updates until a buyer was found, and transaction completed.

From the very beginning Middletons were very professional. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and kept us up to date with the progress of our property.All the ladies were knowledgeable in all aspects of any concerns we had. My overall review of Middletons Estate Agents is excellent. Each member of the team I dealt with were professional and always willing to speak to me and answer any queries I had. I originally chose Middletons over other estate agents as on my initial call to book a valuation they seemed happy to hear from me. Other estate agents I rang sounded like I had disrupted them. Paul came around to value the house and was friendly and very passionate about his business. He took some great photo's and I felt caught the house in its real form and not making it look better/bigger than it was! My biggest praise it how well each person communicates with each other, my self as the vendor and my Solicitor. when I last bought and sold houses 5 years ago I was the one running around between the estate agent and solicitor!! This really made it a lot smoother ride and lower stress. I would get regular emails as to what was happening with my sale and also the chain above. Julie and the team have been absolutely incredible during my house move from first point of sale to listing and viewings and everything in between, even when faced with difficult solicitors and problems (none down to Middletons) and i fully credit that i have actually been able to move house down to their hard work, dedication and clear communication out of my entire chain i feel like Middletons had the most professional and helpful input (i had to talk to a lot of estate solicitors and estate agents) with almost immediate response times and more than often going way above and beyond to get the best and most efficient result. I had no experience of Middleton's before I was offered a house valuation via Rightmove. I had already checked out my favourite online, hybrid and traditional estate agents and wasn't sure which way to go. Thank you to the whole team in helping us sell my Mum's house. We have not had experience of the property market for over 40 years but everyone was so helpful and the process went really smoothly. I sold my parents' house and land with Middletons. I knew from the beginning of the process that I would encounter difficulties as I was selling using LPA , the property was a mixture of residential and fields,(3 titles in all), was in need of refurbishment inside and out, there were encroachment issues and I had very little experience of buying or selling properties. When Paul made his initial visit he advised us on how to best present the property: he wasn't fazed by the problems and he made us feel positive about the price we could achieve. We chose Middletons because Paul was honest and likeable: I felt he was someone I would feel comfortable communicating with and could be relied on. Sharon and Paul came out to take the photos and measure up. They produced a great brochure and website entry which really showed the property off. Later, in lockdown, I was given very comprehensive instructions on how to produce a video for viewers, this seemed daunting at first but with their notes it was easy and I'm glad I did it. They edited it and it proved a valuable marketing tool which enabled an offer to be made in very challenging times. Paul, Sharon, Hazel and Katherine kept me up to date at all times with information about potential buyers, viewings and feedback. Between them, they did the bulk of the viewings. Hazel always did identity checks on viewers to ensure that the process was secure and she made sure that she made information about their financial position and any chain available. Following viewings there was always a timely de-brief to address the viewer's feedback. By the time I accepted an offer I had built up a very positive relationship with Hazel in particular, who helped me to negotiate a price with the buyer and drew up the memorandum of sale. She was always available to give me advice and help me understand the process and what I needed to do next. I was anxious about being passed over to the sales progressor as I had not spoken to her yet. I need not have worried... Julie was absolutely brilliant throughout the conveyancing process, dealing with me, the buyer and both sets of solicitors very professionally and with endless patience, diplomacy and energy. She supported me through a long and winding conveyancing journey and had her hand firmly on the the tiller all the way! I always knew that she was just an email or phone call away to reassure or advise me. I would recommend Middletons to anyone who wanted to sell their house. Its also worth noting that in my case, Middletons were not my local estate agent- I never met Hazel or Julie- but the service I received could not have been better and they had the skills required to build a professional relationship with me (and my buyer) by email and phone.

From the first enquiry about a viewing, we found all the staff extremely helpful. We were kept up to date with progress and any queries were speedily and efficiently dealt with. I wasn't expecting much interaction with Middleton's, as they were acting for the seller of my property. That said, I had more interaction with them than my own estate agent. They kept me up to date with all progression from both sides and with solicitors etc, and made the whole experience painless and stress free. Will definitely consider using them in the future should I look to sell the property.
