    About Robert Ellis Lettings and Management

    Robert Ellis & Co Ltd are the largest Independent Letting Agent specialising in the area to the South West of Nottingham.

    With three main letting branches occupying prominent High Street positions in Beeston, Long Eaton and Stapleford, these complement our existing nearby sales offices within the towns. As a firm of Chartered Surveyors, we have provided a professional lettings service to clients for more than 25 years on both a residential and commercial basis. The branches now manage over 1500 properties in the West Nottingham area for both individual private Landlords and larger portfolio clients.

    With many people now choosing to rent a property rather than purchase, this area of our business has grown dramatically over recent years and we are now letting on average at least two properties per working day with our portfolio of both available and managed properties continuing to expand.

    • APPLICATION FEE: £180 (incl. VAT) per Tenant.

    Referencing per tenant (identity, immigration and visa confirmation, financial credit checks, obtaining references from current/previous Employers/Landlords and any other information to assess affordability) as well as contract negotiation (amending and agreeing terms) and arranging the tenancy and agreement.

    Registering the tenancy deposit into an appropriate scheme.

    • NOTE: Tenants will be required to provide Robert Ellis with both the first full month's rent and the agreed deposit monies within 5 working days of completion of the proposed tenancy negotiations. Should these monies not be forthcoming, the property will be placed back on the open market.
    • GUARANTOR FEE: £60 (incl. VAT) per person.

    Arranging credit referencing and providing a deed of guarantee as part of the tenancy.

    • "PET DEPOSIT": A returnable, additional security deposit of £100 per pet.


    • TENANCY RENEWAL FEE AFTER YOU MOVE IN: £60 (incl. VAT) per tenancy.

    Contract negotiation, amending and updating terms and arranging a further Fixed Term Tenancy or Licence.

    Guy Hall, Director of Lettings & Management
    Guy oversees the lettings and management departments at the Beeson office and the Long Eaton and Stapleford branches. He has over 25 years estate agency experience in the west Nottingham area. He joined Robert Ellis in 1993 and has specialised in residential lettings for the past 20 years. Guy is responsible for the continued expansion of the lettings division within Robert Ellis and has overseen considerable growth year on year. A family man, Guy lives locally and is married with 3 children.

    David Cooper, Office Manager
    David Joined Robert Ellis in 2013 after working for 2 leading letting agents in both Long Eaton and Derby. With a wealth of experience and a fresh, positive and driven approach to lettings, over the time he has been here David has managed to increase business in all areas for Long Eaton. David's roles are to oversee all lettings aspects of the business making sure that standards are kept to ensure positivity for business development and growth, while maintaining a high standard of customer service .

    Nicola Berry, Administrator / Lettings Negotiator
    Nicky started at Robert Ellis during November 2011 and is one of the main members of the lettings team at Long Eaton. Nicky deals with a lot of the administrative tasks involving new tenants and liaising with landlords we are acting for. Since joining the company Nicky has seen a significant increase in the volume of business being handled by Robert Ellis in Long Eaton and looks forward to developing her career within the lettings side of the business. Nicky lives locally and knows the West side of Nottingham extremely well, she is married with two young children who attend local schools.

    Debbie Lester, Repairs & Maintenance
    Debbie is the newest member of the Long Eaton lettings team, she has worked in property management for social housing and in the private sector for a number of years and now oversees all repair and maintenance issues relating to the Long eaton office tenancies. Debbie has a very friendly and approachable nature and being from the local area, has a good knowledge of the surrounding areas.

    Sophie Dunn, Lettings Negotiator
    Sophie is a recent member of our Long Eaton team having joined us in early 2016. Sophie has lived in Long Eaton for many years and as a front line negotiator, is responsible for matching prospective tenants to suitable properties, agreeing Lets and processing references and tenancy applications. She is personable and approachable and is always ready to help.

    Clair Jones, Property Inspector
    Clair brings many years of experience to her role as Property Inspector and is responsible for carrying out regular routine inspections at all of the properties currently under tenancy through our Long Eaton branch. She provides advice and guidance to both tenants and landlords and works closely with the Repairs and Maintenance team to ensure any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Clair joined Robert Ellis from an established City Centre Letting Agency.
