Porter and Bond is a new and exciting company striving to provide the best and most

personal service possible.

Having worked in the industry for over 25 years now and

with more and more companies going more digital I have felt that the personal side of things has been diluted.

When I started out, we relied heavily on our day-to-day planning every morning using pen & paper talking to people with an office-based diary and handwritten buyer cards in a folder on our desk.

What this meant was that you had a personal relationship with your buyers and spoke to them every week even if it was to see how things were going even if we had nothing to offer them at the time.

Nowadays your computer is turned on every morning and that is what plans your day and we get told what to do by a machine.

For me, this is where the personal side of the business has been diluted and customers are just customers and not treated the way they used to be, where we were genuinely trying to help and at Porter and Bond estate agents, that is exactly what we want to bring back, you will not just be a number, you will be part of the family throughout the whole process.

Someone will be there from start to finish 12 hours a day to guide you through the process step by step to make one of the most stressful things you ever do in your life and turn it back into one of the most exciting things you will do.
