The McGregor family have owned & run Littlehampton office for the last 12 years. Dave is the Director and Trish, Dave's wife, works in the business as a negotiator. Littlehampton is a seaside resort with a pleasant, family atmosphere. The beach is blue flag listed with a small leisure port that vessels come to from all of the UK and Europe. The Baird s Farm shop is popular in the area - a multi-award winning family run business, selling local meat and a range of homemade bread and cakes. Nearby East Preston is another sea front village, popular with retired people. Rustington is the largest village in England with many shops & restaurants. The beach is a pleasant walk away. There is good access to A27 & A259 which links residents to Chichester, Portsmouth, Worthing and Brighton.

Arundel is a historic market town surrounded by woodland. Arundel Castle & the cathedral are major points of interest, it was famously the seat of The Dukes of Norfolk. Set in 40 acres of sweeping grounds and gardens it is one of the great treasure houses of England. Arundel also has many top quality restaurants and an annual music festival which attracts top artists. It's close to the renowned Goodwood race track which holds the festival of speed, the world's largest car event. Goodwood race course is close by home of the famous Glorious Goodwood race meeting over 5 days in late July, early August.

Having worked in the industry for over 25 years now and

with more and more companies going more digital I have felt that the personal side of things has been diluted.

When I started out, we relied heavily on our day-to-day planning every morning using pen & paper talking to people with an office-based diary and handwritten buyer cards in a folder on our desk.

What this meant was that you had a personal relationship with your buyers and spoke to them every week even if it was to see how things were going even if we had nothing to offer them at the time.

Nowadays your computer is turned on every morning and that is what plans your day and we get told what to do by a machine.

For me, this is where the personal side of the business has been diluted and customers are just customers and not treated the way they used to be, where we were genuinely trying to help and at Porter and Bond estate agents, that is exactly what we want to bring back, you will not just be a number, you will be part of the family throughout the whole process.
