Strood town offers a variety of shops, banks and estate agents that you would expect to find in most towns. It is a popular residential area, with a choice of different style properties to suit all requirements. If you are passing through it is always worth a visit to Rochester (a short walk over the river) where you will find a unigue High Street and beautiful cathedral and castle located on the river front.
