What have we done to improve our marketing consent?
We wanted to be more transparent with you. We’ve updated the description of each consent category to ensure that you know exactly what you might receive from us when opting in. For example, if you’ve opted into the Rightmove UK Newsletter, it is clear that it could include tips and tools for home moving. Or, for those opted into UK buying and selling or UK renting and letting, you might get content related to home moving services like broadband, insurance and utilities, as well as mortgages.
Am I guaranteed to receive all the content listed when I opt into that marketing category?
Not necessarily. The content you receive may vary from what others receive. We may use your activity on our site to help us better understand your needs and where you are in your home moving journey. This will enable us to customise and tailor the content you receive based on your interests.
Do I need to do anything?
No, you do not have to do anything if you are happy with the marketing you are currently receiving from us. To view what you are currently opted in to, navigate to the marketing preference centre through the link provided in the email or find it in My Rightmove.
How do I change my marketing preferences?
You can access the preference centre via the link provided in the email or through My Rightmove by following the steps below:
- Sign in (if you haven’t already)
- Click the ‘My details’ option within My Rightmove
- Click the ‘Preferences Centre’ button to make your changes
How often do we update our marketing consent?
We don’t need to make these updates often but as and when things change, we want to make you aware of that.
