Last year most property sales in Ardingly involved detached properties which sold for on average £686,685. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £348,317, while semi-detached properties fetched £433,750.
Ardingly, with an overall average price of £559,018, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Balcombe (£568,581), but was more expensive than Lindfield (£482,210) and Haywards Heath (£403,903).
During the last year, sold prices in Ardingly were similar to the previous year and 17% up on 2014 when the average house price was £478,656.
