Last year most property sales in Hadlow Down involved detached properties which sold for on average £632,500. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £287,000, while semi-detached properties fetched £345,000.
Hadlow Down, with an overall average price of £426,800 was more expensive than nearby Crowborough (£400,317) and Heathfield (£294,870), but was cheaper than Mayfield (£615,145).
During the last year, sold prices in Hadlow Down were similar to the previous year and 45% down on 2012 when the average house price was £777,500.
There were only 5 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
