Last year most property sales in New Marske involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £140,929. Detached properties sold for an average price of £197,571, while terraced properties fetched £74,000.
New Marske, with an overall average price of £142,308 was more expensive than nearby Skelton-In-Cleveland (£133,414), Brotton (£114,409) and Eston (£105,545).
During the last year, sold prices in New Marske were similar to the previous year and 7% down on 2009 when the average house price was £153,124.
