The majority of sales in Rayleigh during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £345,443. Detached properties sold for an average of £496,827, with terraced properties fetching £301,478.
Rayleigh, with an overall average price of £374,350, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Thundersley (£369,077) and Hadleigh (£365,750), but was cheaper than Rawreth (£425,426).
Overall sold prices in Rayleigh over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 26% up on the 2015 level of £296,261.
