Last year most property sales in Upper Shirley involved flats which sold for on average £357,001. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £500,421, while detached properties fetched £891,936.
Upper Shirley, with an overall average price of £493,835, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Shirley (£474,354), but was more expensive than Croydon (£372,050) and Addiscombe (£379,502).
During the last year, sold prices in Upper Shirley were 16% up on the previous year and 30% up on 2015 when the average house price was £381,074.
