It’s safe to say that the UK property market isn’t lacking when it comes to choice, with unique homes often capturing the most attention.

From characterful countryside retreats to homes that have clearly been designed with entertaining in mind, this month’s roundup of the most viewed properties on Rightmove offer more than just square footage. Right now, buyers are clearly drawn to flexible layouts and standout lifestyle features as well as space, be it land to grow into or additional outbuildings.

Here are the five homes that attracted the most attention in the last month.

1. 5-bed home perfect for entertaining

If hosting friends and family is high on your list priorities, this five-bedroom, four-bathroom home will deliver. The back garden has recently been upgraded, featuring a sunken decking area and fire pit that make for an ideal gathering space in the summer months.

The property also features a detached office with its own mezzanine. This gives additional space for working from home, or providing staying guests with some privacy and independence.

Nestled within the North Devon countryside is Woodley Park Farm, an idyllically situated and recently restored period farmhouse overlooking its own lake, pastureland and woodland.

While the main farmhouse is approached via a long private lane, there’s plenty of space to make use of across the grounds, including a converted cow byre and even a separate treehouse-style chalet. Altogether, there are up to eight bedrooms and four bathrooms, with just under 24 acres to explore.
