A small fishing village may become the focus of new Spanish property investment following news that it is to feature in a tourist advertising campaign.
Spanish property firm Titan Properties is based in the village of El Rompido in Huelva and has said the profile of the location may be boosted by the image of its beach in promotional pictures used by the Spanish Tourist Board.
Director Andrew Bentiz said the lack of attention the areas has had until now had maintained its idyllic atmosphere but also meant many were missing out on potential property treats.
He added: "Hopefully the inclusion of El Rompido’s glorious beach in a global ad campaign will bring some much-deserved attention and education on the area."
El Rompido is on the Costa de la Luz, which has often been hailed for its atmosphere.
Writing last month in the Daily Telegraph, travel writer Fred Mawer said the low number of UK visitors to this coast means it has not been heavily Anglicised with "tacky" British-style cafes.
