Property in Florida continues to prove its worth for Star Wars fans, with the movie franchise's creator George Lucas among the most recent visitors to the Sunshine State.
He headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park on August 14th to celebrate Star Tours, a thrill attraction at the site, as part of a special event entitled The Last Tour to Endor.
Popular characters from the world of Disney dressed up in honour of the event, meaning Jedi Mickey Mouse, Princess Leia Minnie, Disney's very own droid R2-MK and the not-particularly-threatening Darth Goofy were all on hand to welcome Lucas.
A full-motion flight simulator, Star Tours places passengers in a virtual Starspeeder 3000 as they head off on a relaxing vacation – a holiday within a holiday, for people staying in property in Florida for a break of their own.
However, when the droid pilot RX-24 deviates from the intended flight path, the passengers are left facing menaces including the Death Star itself across the solar system in a galaxy far, far away.
