Research from holiday booking website Expedia reveals there is a "sweet spot" for booking festive flights to property in Florida.
According to the company, the week of November 29th is the best time to bag a seat on a flight to Miami.
This is the cheapest time to reserve a journey to property in Florida's surrounding region, compared with just a few days before or after.
Expedia claims the price difference can be up to 20 per cent in relation to December or early November prices.
However, if people are bound for property in Orlando, they should wait a little longer, as the sweet spot occurs in the week of December 6th-13th for that destination.
The report also notes that, in the past fortnight, ticket prices have typically been lower than they were in the same period of 2009.
