There are a number of options for people looking for a property in Florida, one expert in the overseas real estate sector has noted.
Amanda Lamb, presenter of A Place in the Sun, explained that anyone who wants to purchase a property in Florida will be able to find one that will retain its appeal for buyers and renters.
"Anywhere near one of the theme parks is always a good bet, in terms of the rental, because you are obviously going to attract families to places like that," she noted.
Orlando and Kissimmee were among her top suggestions for Florida properties near such attractions.
Meanwhile, Ms Lamb pointed out that Miami, Naples and Sarasota are also good choices for a home abroad.
She added that Naples is a particularly popular destination among retired couples, many of whom spend the winter in the US, before returning to the UK during the summer months.
Naples could be a good choice for those who like getting out and about, with golf, hiking and fishing among the pastimes that can be enjoyed from the city on the east coast of the US.
