People spending time in property in Florida this season are promised a "happening" visit, thanks to the array of activities being laid on in the Kissimmee area.
At Osceola Heritage Park, a series of illuminations bring the winter season to life as more than 100 oversized scenes are recreated in lights.
The Kissimmee Tourism Bureau promises a quirky yet traditional holiday experience that is "uniquely Kissimmee" and uses millions of tiny twinkling lights to create the pictures.
Would-be visitors are told: "There will be palm trees decked out, a cowboy swinging a lasso, the gifts from the 12 Days of Christmas song, Rudolph and Santa Claus, a Western saloon and much more."
Meanwhile, at SeaWorld the Christmas Celebration could add a further reason to visit property in Florida for families.
Here the attractions include a journey to the North Pole aboard the Polar Express, as well as ice-dancing shows, with events scheduled for weekends from November 26th to December 12th and then every night between December 17th and January 2nd 2011.
