If the lavish firework displays that take place all year round at Disney's Magic Kingdom are enough to lure you to property in Florida, the prospect of spending New Year's Eve there could prove even more exciting.
Twice during the evening, the skies over the Magic Kingdom are due to light with the flashes of spectacular pyrotechnics marking both the end of 2010 and the dawn of the new calendar year.
At 20:30 local time on December 31st, the "boldest and brightest" of the fireworks shows to take place at the Disney resort is scheduled as Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season lights up the skies.
Meanwhile, at 23:50, the countdown to 2011 gets underway in spectacular fashion as a show named Fantasy in the Sky bids a fond and fiery farewell to the departing year.
While the resort is open until 2:00 on January 1st, property in Florida's surrounding areas offers the chance to see the fireworks without actually being in the park.
Clermont in Lake County and Davenport are just two of the Sunshine State's communities from where this is the case.
