Although the biggest St Patrick's Day celebrations will take place in Ireland, there is also a festival in Florence next month to mark the occasion.
From March 15th to 18th, a series of concerts celebrating the Emerald Isle will be held at the Saschall Theatre in Florence, which may interest those staying in property in Italy.
Among the acts due to perform are Diarmund Moynihan, Tim Edey Collective and the Coyle School of Irish Dancing.
Heading to one or more of the shows could be a great way for those living in property in Italy to get a taste of Irish revelry.
There will also be an Irish arts and crafts fair, as well as the chance to try some traditional Irish food and drink.
Of course, there is plenty more to see and do in Florence and anyone staying in a property in Tuscany may be able to enjoy an excursion to a vineyard or could want to spend a few days discovering the museums and architecture for which the city is famous.
