Figures from FlightStats Analytics show that those travelling to and from property in Florida in December were some of North America's least disrupted passengers during a period of adverse weather conditions worldwide.
The organisation compiles statistics relating to the proportion of flights which depart on time from airports all over the world.
During December, much of North America was hit by extreme weather conditions – but the south of the US was among the areas to dodge the worst.
As a result, the airport in Tampa, Florida, scored second only to Memphis, Tennessee in terms of on-time departures.
Of those flying out from property in Florida over the course of the month, 79.18 per cent left on time.
This compares with London Heathrow's on-time departure success rate of 46.75 per cent over the same period.
Passengers travelling on Friday, January 7th may want to check for any delays as the Met Office has issued severe weather warnings forecasting heavy snow for much of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Scottish borders.
