If you are dreaming of moving across the pond and owning a property in Florida, then the latest statistics on the US property should fill you with encouragement.
The National Association of Realtors revealed that the pending sales index had risen by 8.2 per cent in February and by 17.3 per cent over the past 12 months.
Adam Samuel, director at Nubricks.com, noted that the market appears to be on an "upwards trend" and buyers are feeling more optimistic.
He said that Florida property in Orlando is still "the draw" for foreign buyers and has recently seen a rise in investor interest.
"The increase in buyers has certainly been quite prevalent over the last three months … Orlando still has the draw and the closer to the Disney World Park, the better," he commented.
If you are determined to make your dream move a reality then Mr Samuel also believes that UK buyers can still find a good deal, despite the relative weakness of the pound.
