Irish holidaymakers heading to property in Florida in the weeks to come could find they are able to enjoy a familiar flavour at Walt Disney World's Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
Scheduled to last from October 1st to November 14th, the event celebrates different cuisine from around the world, represented by the countries that are reproduced in miniature at the Epcot World Showcase.
As a result, Irish holidaymakers staying in property in Florida can dodge the typical American fare of burgers and hot dogs – and instead tuck in to some fisherman's pie.
Made with lobster and scallops, the recipe is just one of those being cooked up for the event, much of which costs no more to enter on top of the ticket price for the park itself.
Epcot World Showcase is one of the two original areas of the park and celebrates cultural heritage, while Epcot Future World celebrates technological advances and innovation.
