A marathon of an unusual kind awaits visitors to the capital of Hungary, some of whom may be Budapest property seekers.

While some people may look forward to watching or participating in the spectacle of thousands of runners pounding the streets for 26 miles, the Dvorak Marathon offers a more classical challenge – that of listening to the works of Czech composer Antonin Dvorak from 10.30 in the morning to 10.10 at night.

In all, 11 concerts will take place, split between the Bela Bartok National Concert Hall and the Festival Theatre.

Such an event may appeal to Budapest property seekers who are attracted to the cultural aspects of the city, while those renting property to tourists may also benefit from such events.

Budapest will also be hosting its annual Spring Festival in March and April, in which a variety of entertainments, from jazz to church music, from children’s art to dance will take place.
