There will be more flights to Tenerife from Manchester from this summer, it has been announced.
Low-cost airline easyJet has revealed that it has brought forward plans to expand its services from the airport to May 21st, having originally been pencilled in for August.
Tenerife will see more flights as a result, which may boost those seeking to invest in Canary Islands property.
UK commercial manager Carla Brear said: "Customers in the north-west can now take advantage of even more of easyJet’s famously low fares to the summer hotspots across Europe."
The airline stated that its fares will start at £22.99.
Earlier this month travel writer for the Times Peter Stothard suggested that people may enjoy visiting the San Blas area on the southern tip of the island.
Noting that this lies away from the beaten tourist track, he described the area as one full of "mysterious twisted ravines, volcanic shafts and caves".
