With Halloween approaching on October 31st, property in Florida could provide shelter from the spooky goings-on, along with the chance to join in some of Disney's events.
Jetsave, which organises self-drive and guided tours of the Sunshine State, says that there is a window of opportunity to join in the scheduled celebrations this year.
That window opens as early as October 10th, when there are already Halloween-themed festivities taking place in Disney's Orlando theme parks.
Flights are also available to take families to property in Florida for a week from October 25th, which the tour operator says could be ideal for half-term breaks.
But for the best chance to land amid the spooky celebrations in full swing, October 29th could be the perfect time to take a trip.
"The ultimate spooky getaway involves flying out two days before the holiday itself in time to experience a unique Halloween night at one of the theme parks' events," Jetsave suggests.
