Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s new wonder-boy, has splashed some of his record transfer fee on a new Spanish property.
However, despite the fleet-footed footballer not being short of a penny or two, he’s still said to be exercising caution with his latest investment, by renting his Spanish property first with the option to buy later, the spoiler.co.uk reports.
The exclusive bachelor pad reportedly contains five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a wine cellar, pool, cinema, Jacuzzi room and its very own locker rooms – not to mention a garage big enough to hold six cars.
Additional gizmos that come with the hi-tech Spanish property include 24-hour hour security patrols, perimeter security cameras and infrared biometric controls to keep out prying paparazzos all for the bargain sum of 12,000 euros (£10,500) a month.
Ronaldo has reportedly agreed a deal with the owner of the Spanish property to purchase the ritzy home for a cool five million euros if it proves top of the property league, according to the website.
The player became the world’s most expensive footballer in 2008 when he was sold to Real Madrid from Manchester United in a deal worth £80 million.
