The useful Cinema room will be a great opportunity for everyone to sit down together and enjoy a movie of an evening. This room could also make a handy games room for the children.
The Kitchen/diner is good size and will appeal to anyone who enjoys cooking and the open plan lounge/diner is adjacent to this room, this can work well when entertaining friends and family.
When the summer months come back, the lounge area will be a superb area to relax in, as you can appreciate the breeze flowing through the open double doors with the backdrop of the outstanding, well maintained garden.
The stunning landing is a main feature of the first floor and feels like a real centrepiece to the property. The bedrooms on this floor are all good, comfortable sizes with two en suite shower rooms and an en suite bathroom to the master bedroom.
Storage space is always important in family homes and access to the loft area could not be easier. The loft has a fixed staircase and could even be developed into another couple of bedrooms (subject to planning permission).
THE OWNER QUOTE
Lancet Place has been a very special family home which we hope another family will enjoy just as much. When we bought the property we renovated it so as to modernise it while keeping its original charm.
It has been a wonderful family home for nearly 20 years, with us enjoying the magnificent garden where we have celebrated weddings, christenings, Easter egg hunts and many summer BBQs. The grandchildren had lots of fun spending summers in the garden.
In the winter the house is just as lovely especially at Christmas time with a roaring fire to welcome you in the hall. We love the location as it’s so close to loose village and some nice walks but also within easy reach to good schools and town. The house gave us many treasured memories and is ready to do the same for the next owner.
