LOCATION

The town centre features several well-preserved historical buildings, including Royston Cave, a unique man-made cavern with carvings dating back to the medieval period. The Parish Church of St John the Baptist is another prominent historical landmark, with a spire visible from much of the town.
The town's layout includes narrow streets and charming alleyways lined with both Georgian and Victorian-era buildings. Some newer developments are mixed in but generally blend well with the historical character.

Royston has good transport links, with Royston Railway Station just a short walk from the centre, offering regular services to London and Cambridge.
The town is accessible by road, with ample parking for visitors, and several bus routes connecting it to nearby towns and villages. The proximity of the town is also perfect for air travel via London Stansted and London Luton airports.
