Description
DESCRIPTION:
The property, which is being sold with vacant possession, is located within a popular private estate just to the east of the city within a few hundred meters of the top of North Street. A part glazed front door leads into the hallway with coats cupboard, cloakroom and stairs to the first floor. From the hall a door leads to the kitchen which overlooks the front of the property and could do with updating but comprises a range of base and wall cupboards, stainless steel sink with mixer tap, gas four ring hob with electric oven below, extractor hood over, gas boiler and space and plumbing for further appliances. The sitting room has a large store cupboard, a window overlooking the rear garden and UPVC sliding doors providing access to the southwest facing terrace and garden.
On the first floor is a master bedroom with a good range of fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower room. There is a further double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a single bedroom and a family bathroom with a panelled bath, wash hand basin, low level WC and half tiled walls.
The property is approached to the front via a paved pathway and useful outside store cupboard adjacent to the front door. To the rear, and a particular feature of the property, is a low maintenance paved and gravelled rear garden with wooden store, retractable sunshades to the rear window and patios doors, raised flowerbeds, panelled fencing and pedestrian gate. The property also benefits from a parking space for one car and there are limited visitors parking available.

Located to the north of the city is the Goodwood Estate, which is famous for its many sporting event days including the much-celebrated Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival for motor racing enthusiasts, and a season of horseracing including Qatar Festival. The South Downs National Park is within easy reach being about 2.5 miles to the north, and Chichester Harbour, along with Chichester Marina and Birdham Pool, are located just to the south-west, the harbour being home to several popular sailing clubs.
Also, to the south-west, about 9 miles, is the popular sandy beach at West Wittering and the National Trust’s East Head sand dune spit at the stunning entrance to Chichester Harbour.
There are bus stops nearby, and Chichester’s centrally located train station provides services along the coast to Portsmouth and Brighton, and to London Victoria.
