The arts are well catered for with facilities including the Chichester Festival and Minerva Theatres and Pallant House Gallery.
The West Sussex coast provides many other attractions with the waters of The Solent being particularly popular with sailors. There are a number of well known sailing clubs most notably at Bosham, Itchenor, Chichester Marina and Birdham. The National Trust Reserve at East Head and blue flag beaches of West Wittering can be found approximately 10 miles to the south.
