Description
This three-bedroom home presents a prime opportunity for renovation. While the property requires refurbishment, it offers lots of potential for those looking for a project to turn into their forever home, or their next investment. This could include (STPP) rear extensions or loft conversions to increase living space and add value. Other homes along this road have been renovated and extended, indicating a favourable precedent for obtaining planning permission for similar enhancements
As you enter the home, you come in via a traditional hallway which leads into the downstairs reception area. The living room offers lots of space and natural light, and could be turned into a good size living room and dining area.
The kitchen is located to the rear of the property, and leads through to the family bathroom. Other homes along this street have reconfigured the bathroom to be upstairs.
There are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and a W/C upstairs. As there is currently a W/C upstairs, this will likely reducing plumbing costs if you were to reconfigure the family bathroom to the first floor.
The generously sized garden is ideal for landscaping or creating distinct outdoor spaces and even comes with a pre-built outbuilding that is ready for a variety of uses. It is divided into two, as there is a right of access pathway passing through the width of the garden.
More about the location...
Newton Longville is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority area of Buckinghamshire. The village is about 2 miles (3 km) south-west of Bletchley.
The main industry in the village between 1847 and 1991 was brick making. The village had a large brick factory, originally belonging to the Read family, becoming the Bletchley Brick company in 1923, and then taken over by the London Brick Company (LBC) in 1929. The works made Fletton bricks and distributed them all over the country. It was closed in November 1991 after Hanson Trust bought the London Brick Company.
Newton Longville Church of England Combined School is a mixed, voluntary controlled primary school, that takes children between the ages of four and eleven. It has slightly over 200 pupils.
