Description

Why Buy This Home....

As you step inside, the first thing you'll notice is the generous hallway space. The current owners have cleverly created a stylish seating area under the stairs. Not only does it look fantastic, but it's also a practical spot to sit and remove shoes before heading further in. What really stands out, though, is the flooring: sleek porcelain tiles that run throughout the downstairs, all with the added luxury of underfloor heating. The floating staircase is another standout feature, finished in white hardwood laminate and paired with a sleek, frameless glass balustrade. It adds a touch of elegance and makes the hallway feel open and contemporary.

To the left-hand side of the hallway, you have the main living room. Not only is this a fantastic space, it's also really bright. This is down to the large windows and, of course, the French doors which lead you on to the garden. There's plenty of space for a corner sofa or a full three-piece suite, ensuring everyone in the family has a comfortable place to sit.

Following the hallway around, you’ll come to the all-important second reception room. Currently used as a home office and snug, it's the ideal spot to catch up on work or unwind with a book after a long week. Versatile in its use, this room could just as easily serve as a playroom for children or even a downstairs bedroom for an older family member.

The kitchen/diner is one of the main reasons buyers are drawn to the Langdale, it's a fantastic space. Generously sized, it easily accommodates a large dining table with plenty of room for the whole family. There's even potential to add a central island with stools for casual meals or entertaining. The kitchen itself has been upgraded with integrated AEG appliances, a double oven, and mood lighting along the kick plates. Whether you're hosting guests or enjoying a quiet family meal, this kitchen strikes the perfect balance of style and practicality.

Step out from the kitchen into a beautifully landscaped garden designed for both relaxation and entertaining. The initial resin-bonded patio creates a clean, modern entrance and leads your eye toward the raised porcelain-tiled seating area, a standout feature framed by sleek glass balustrades. This elevated space is not only perfect for outdoor lounging but is also home to a striking waterfall feature that serves as the garden’s centrepiece.

A bespoke pergola adorned with climbing plants provides a shaded walkway, guiding you across the lawn via stepping stones and offering additional seating beneath. New fencing surrounds the garden, offering privacy and creating a secluded retreat. With multiple areas to sit, socialise, or unwind, this garden is a seamless extension of the home’s style and comfort.

The master bedroom is a luxurious retreat, beautifully styled with a soft, neutral palette and glamorous accents throughout. The space is bright and airy, thanks to large windows that allow natural light to pour in. A statement crystal chandelier adds a touch of sophistication, while mirrored feature walls enhance the sense of space and elegance. Thoughtfully furnished, there's room for a seating area as well as sleek built-in storage. Every detail, from the plush carpeting to the gold and black finishes, has been carefully considered to create a calm yet refined atmosphere, perfect for winding down at the end of the day.

The second bedroom is big enough to allow the eldest child to have their own space. Being the opposite side of the house to the master gives privacy that teens crave, and the width means a seating area could fit as well as bedroom furniture. The third bedroom is relatively square in shape and a lovely space for a younger child to call their own.

The fourth bedroom is being used as a dressing room by the current owners, which is a testament to its usable size. There is also a built-in wardrobe which is over the stairs. These bedrooms are served by the family bathroom. The family bathroom has been finished to a high standard with a bold, modern look. The black marble-style tiles with white veining give it a dramatic feel, while the gold accents add a touch of luxury without going over the top. The freestanding bath is a real highlight, perfect for a relaxing soak. There's a sleek floating vanity with a gold bowl sink, built-in shelving for your toiletries, and a stylish wall-mounted toilet. Overall, it’s a well-designed space that feels both smart and inviting.

Parking is provided by a garage and a driveway. There is also ample communal parking available.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Primary Schooling is provided by the surrounding villages and Secondary Schooling is provided by Cottesloe in Wing or Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
