They are located in beautiful quiet countryside just a mile and a half from the coast and there is a lovely quiet walk down the wooded valley to the beautiful fishing village of Polperro. Looe is just 3 miles away and Fowey is 6 miles. The nearest village is Pelynt which has two pubs and two shops and is just over a mile away. When living on the farm you will get the use of communal gardens, large exercise field and children's playground.
There is also parking for two cars per property. There is potentially storage available in our barns next door if required. You will also get use of the nearby indoor pool until the end of March 2026.
The cottage is fully furnished and includes cutlery, crockery pillows and duvet. All you have to bring is bed linen and towels.
With one galleried bedroom, Threpney Byre is an imaginatively converted ’roundhouse’ and is full of character. The cottage was named after the old twelve sided three penny piece due to its shape, with the word Byre being an old English word for a cowshed.
The bright and spacious open plan downstairs living space has a dining area and a kitchen area with oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and a fridge with a small freezer box. The kitchen and lounge has views of the courtyard. The sitting area has a leather sofa and a comfortable leather reclining chair – plus a 32″ smart TV. The cottage also has its own Wi-Fi.
Also on the ground floor is the large bathroom/W.C. which has a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
On the first floor/mezzanine floor is the charming galleried double bedroom which has a beamed sloping ceiling.
Outside there is a private south facing courtyard with garden furniture.
