Description

**OFFERS OVER £375,000** Jukes Estate Agents are delighted to bring to market this absolutely stunning 3 bedroom terraced property in the ever popular Fullers Mead, Harlow.
As you can imagine, doing this for a living, I see many different types of property in all sorts of conditions and I actually enjoy describing every single one. However, when a property comes along in this condition, it warms the cockles of my heart!
This property is simply in mint condition throughout. It's neutral colour scheme means it one of those 'bangers'. Move in do nothing!
Bit by bit, room by room, the new owners can get the property into their own layout and colour schemes or simply leave it exactly as it is and reap the rewards of the caring current owners who have put a lot of thought, money and interior design expertise into what is, a fabulous property.
There is a high grade blocked paved driveway for 2 cars and the property is entered via a nice porch. Porches are always a smashing addition and not only keep muddy boots and paws away from the interior of the property, they help retain heat and thus reduce the every increasing heating bills.
There is a lovely entrance hall which allows access to the lounge, the kitchen & of course, the stairs. There is also a large storage area that has been created by a bespoke 'under the stairs' series of doors and cupboards.
The lounge is large and indeed would have originally been a lounge / diner. However, today the current owners have it just as a lounge. At over 21 sq m (over 228 sq ft), it is a whopper! There is an extra large window overlooking the front of the property and at the other end there is another large window and double patio doors that lead into the good size rear garden. The lounge, as is the hallway is laid with high grade laminate flooring.
The kitchen is a delight and as would would expect, is fully fitted. There is a double electric oven and a large 5 ring gas hob. The plethora of cupboards and drawers, all topped with lovely work surfaces are finished off with tasteful white brick style splashback tiles. The kitchen also benefits from high grade porcelain tiles.
There is a lovely white ceramic sink and a half plus drainer and here is the added bonus of an integrated filtered water system meaning healthier drinking water that could be left behind (subject to agreement). There is a door that leads into the conservatory / diner.
I use this description because the current owner tend to use the conservatory as a dining room. It works well and it is plenty large enough to house a large 6 seater dining table and chairs and there is still room for occasional furniture. The conservatory has electrics installed.
There are double doors that lead into the rear garden.
The garden has a side entrance gate that leads back to the front of the property. Yes it is terraced, but as with many Harlow properties, they had these integrated 'walk ways' when built to allow coal to be delivered to the coal bunker rather than have to trooped through the house! These 'walk ways' are invaluable and in today's market, rather quirky.
The rear garden is a good size. There is a large block paved patio area that is perfect for al fresco dining and family BBQ's. The lawn is high grade artificial turf so no more mowing! At the bottom of the garden is a large (almost 16 sq m or 170 sq ft) brick built home office / studio/ summerhouse. It is a work in progress although all the electrics are done. Therefore it wouldn't take very much to get it up and running for a multitude of uses.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. Two are doubles (the master bedroom is large enough to house the current owners kingsize bed), and the other a single. There is also a family bathroom.
All the bedrooms have high grade laminate flooring and all have fitted bespoke blinds and fitted wardrobes.
The family bathroom has all the usual facilities. A bathtub with shower attachment, WC & wash basin plus a heated towel rail.
So, we have a cracking family house. But where does it sits in conjunction with all the local major amenities?
Primary school (Ofsted rated good) 0.6 miles.
Secondary school (Ofsted rated good) 1.0 miles.
M11 0.9 miles.
GP Surgery 0.4 miles.
Harlow Mill Train Station (direct routes to London Liverpool ST, Stansted Airport & Cambridge) 3.6 miles.
Harlow Town Centre 2.3 miles
Princess Alexandra Hospital 2.6 miles.
So as you can see, it is brilliantly placed.
This area receives ultra fast broadband and all major mobile networks receive good signal.
The air quality is 2 where 1 is the best and 10 the worst.
So, we have a great house that is close to all major amenities. However, even that is NOT enough in 2025. Location is also so vitally important. So what is living in Harlow like? Let's find out..
Living in Harlow - A Family-Friendly Haven

Harlow offers an appealing mix of urban convenience and open green space, making it an excellent choice for families seeking balance, community spirit and easy access to both countryside and city life.

A Blend of Town and Country

Originally designed as one of the UK's post-war "new towns", Harlow is known for its generous layout, leafy boulevards and network of parks and public sculptures. The town combines a modern infrastructure with the charm of older areas such as Old Harlow, where historic buildings and traditional pubs sit alongside independent shops and cafés.

Key Amenities and Local Services

Families living in Harlow enjoy a full range of everyday conveniences:

Shopping and Retail: The Harvey Centre and nearby retail parks provide a mix of well-known brands, supermarkets and independent stores. Local markets and high streets offer a friendly community feel and a good range of essentials.

Leisure and Sport: Harlow Leisurezone features swimming pools, a gym, sports halls and fitness classes for all ages. The town also has a David Lloyd club with tennis and padel courts, a spa, and crèche facilities for young children.

Outdoor Activities: The town boasts several large parks and nature reserves. Harlow Town Park spans over 160 acres and includes playgrounds, gardens, a paddling pool, and Pets' Corner - a small petting farm that's hugely popular with families. Nearby, Parndon Wood Nature Reserve and The Gibberd Garden provide peaceful green escapes for walking, picnics and exploring nature.

Arts and Culture: The Harlow Playhouse hosts theatre, comedy, music and dance performances, while public sculptures are scattered throughout the town, reflecting its long-standing artistic heritage.

Health and Education: The Princess Alexandra Hospital serves the town and surrounding area, and Harlow offers a wide selection of primary and secondary schools, as well as nurseries and childcare providers.

Transport and Connectivity: Harlow sits close to the M11 and has two railway stations with direct links to London Liverpool Street and Cambridge, making it convenient for commuters. London Stansted Airport is also within easy reach.

Family Life and Community Spirit

Harlow is designed around family life. There are plenty of sports clubs, playgrounds and after-school activities, and the town's open layout makes it easy to walk or cycle safely. The strong sense of community is supported by local events, youth groups and seasonal celebrations in parks and community centres.

Many families appreciate that the essentials - schools, shops, healthcare and leisure facilities - are all within a short distance, reducing travel time and helping maintain a relaxed pace of life.

Exploring Beyond Harlow

One of Harlow's greatest advantages is its location. Surrounded by the Essex and Hertfordshire countryside, it's perfectly placed for family outings and day trips.

Great Notley Country Park offers miles of walking and cycling trails, picnic areas and a large adventure playground.

Danbury Country Park and Hatfield Forest are ideal for woodland walks, den-building and wildlife spotting.

Barleylands and Marsh Farm Country Park are within easy driving distance and provide fun, educational farm experiences for children.

The nearby market towns of Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth and Epping offer charming high streets, family-run cafés and weekend markets, all within a short drive.

A Place to Grow

Whether you're raising a young family, looking for a balanced work-life lifestyle, or simply want space and greenery without losing touch with the city, Harlow provides an appealing mix of opportunity and comfort. With its excellent schools, plentiful amenities, and access to countryside adventures, it's a place where family life can truly flourish.

About Jukes Estate Agents, Harlow

ABOUT US...

A chance meeting some time ago between Lee Venables & Geoff Flewers saw their conversation turn to estate

agents and how bad an experience they had both had when selling their own properties.

Wind forward 18 months and they were both running Town and Country Herts & Essex Estate Agents. They

became more convinced than ever that the dubious, archaic & darn right bad practices of far too many estate

agents were simply not going to stop. These cause major headaches & heartbreaks for vendors & sellers alike.

For example:

51.8% of all UK home sellers fail to sell within 10 months [source: Jefferies International Investment Bank]

40% of all Harlow sales collapse before exchange of contracts [source: Rightmove]

£2,899 is the average amount a home mover will lose though having a transaction collapse [source: Which?

Mortgage Advisors]

35% of all UK homes currently for sale are marked 'price reduced' [source: Zoopla]

35-40% of all sales are successful only after a change of estate agent [source: Rightmove]

Enough was enough for Lee & Geoff and in July 2023 they formed their own company and JUKES ESTATE AGENTS was

born. Their mantra "Changing the way Estate Agents work!" is exactly what they have been doing & will continue to do!

Based in Harlow but with satellite offices in the surrounding areas JUKES ESTATE AGENTS continue to be innovative and are essentially completely different & therefore unique in their approach to handling perhaps the most important thing you will ever do: Buy & Sell a property.

None of the 5 things above apply to JUKES ESTATE AGENTS. They have consistently

'topped' the charts by being the fastest selling local agent.

Their 'fall through' rate is less than 4% (the average is a staggering 40%).

Over 95% of their properties sell for asking price or above. This is achieved by ACCURATE VALUATIONS, SUPERB

MARKETING & AN AFTER SALE SERVICE THAT IS SECOND TO NONE!
