Description

Why buy this home...

As you step inside, you are welcomed by a handy entrance porch, ideal for coats, shoes and school bags before moving through into the main home. To the right sits a generous living room with a hard wood floor, a practical and family friendly space that is easy to maintain and perfect for busy day to day life.

Moving through, the home opens into an open plan kitchen and dining area. The U shaped kitchen offers plenty of worktop space, allowing you to prepare meals while staying sociable with family and guests. With ample storage, the space remains clutter free and functional. The lean to area is currently used as a utility room, housing the fridge freezer and white goods, keeping the main kitchen clear and organised.

The dining area comfortably accommodates a family sized table, making it a great space for everyday meals and entertaining. From here, you step into the conservatory, currently used as a sitting room and play area, adding valuable extra living space.

The conservatory leads directly out to the rear garden, which is a great size for family life, offering plenty of space for children to play, summer barbecues or simply relaxing outdoors. The garden enjoys a lovely open feel and, to the rear, backs onto a green space, creating a real sense of openness. This space is ideal for children to head out and play, for dog walks, or for enjoying a peaceful stroll without needing to get in the car, a real lifestyle benefit for families and pet owners alike.

This area also offers excellent potential for a single storey extension as your family grows, whether as an additional reception room or a larger kitchen and dining space. Similar homes along the street have extended, suggesting planning permission would likely be achievable.

Upstairs, there are two well proportioned double bedrooms and a single bedroom, ideal for a young child, home office or nursery. The home is presented to a lovely standard throughout and is ready to move straight into, while still offering scope to grow and adapt over time.

The home also benefits from a garage with internal access, offering excellent flexibility. Whether you keep it as secure parking or choose to convert it into an additional reception room, it adapts perfectly to your needs. Outside, a generous driveway provides side by side parking for two cars, so there’s no need to shuffle cars in the morning, making day-to-day life that bit easier.

More about the location...

Bradville has a very pretty section of the Grand Union Canal and the old railway walk which runs 3 miles from Wolverton to Newport Pagnell. The line, which closed in 1963, has been converted to a red way for cyclists and pedestrians. Along the route, you will pass over an aqueduct on the canal and through old bridges and platforms from the old railway as well as boat moorings and fishing spots. On this walk you will be able to see the distinctive landmark; Bradwell Windmill.

The mill we now see just off the V6 Grafton St was erected around 1805 and just about made a living for the families that owned it, milling grain for local farmers. However, it was less reliable than the area’s water mills, for example along the Ouse at Old Wolverton, and by the 20th century it was derelict. The Council acquired it for just £80. Its return to health for the first time in 139 years has been achieved through a partnership between the building’s stewards, Milton Keynes Museum, and Milton Keynes Council, who funded the work of millwrights Owlsworth IJP. The restoration involved making the building watertight and restoring the sails and milling mechanism, so visitors can expect to see the historic millstones in action. Like the Museum itself, Bradwell Windmill is maintained and operated by volunteers. There are lots of Play parks across the estate; the one on Kingsfold has a large slide that has been there for over 40 years and has other play equipment for all ages to enjoy.
