We understand that the mill building was constructed in 1847 (there is a date stone in the front elevation) and it was originally used as a flour mill by Jordan’s and Addington, but that use ceased in the 1950s.

Access off to the customer toilets, together with staff access to the kitchen. Access off to the decking area at the rear of the building. First Floor Dining Area accessed via an open, central staircase from the ground floor bar. Furnished with tables and chairs and separate bar servery (cocktail bar) sufficient to accommodate 68 covers. Trade Kitchen appropriately equipped with a good range of commercial equipment, including a wide extraction hood and separate Prep storage areas. Ground floor cellar. Office accessed from the rear dining room. First Floor accessed from the back bar area drink store.

One bedroom flat on first floor was used as staff flat this now serves ancillary pub accommodation, including the food preparation area, with associated stores and chef’s office. External Areas consist of a gravelled area, which provides a small area of outside seating, together with an outside cooking area that has a wood fired pizza oven and smoker, plus an area of decking adjacent to the pub, which has railings around it. This area provides 4/5 further parking spaces in the winter time in addition to the existing car park area with around 15 spaces. There is timber decking to the rear of the building, which is accessible from the rear bar area and there is a metal walkway to the rear of the kitchen, which is used for moving deliveries into the building. To the front of the pub there is a gravelled area overlooking the mooring and mill pond which, during the warmer months is arranged to provide seating on benches for circa 100 customers.  See Drone Footage
