Or you can walk into the Forest Hill for fab coffee shops, boutiques, gastro pubs- with the Stuffed Walrus on your doorstep. Sunday afternoons can been spent in the famous Horniman Museum or the stunning gardens, which also hosts a farmers market.
Transport 356, 75, 185, 181, 202, 194, 450, 122, 176 all service the local area. Forest Hill station has lines into London Bridge, Victoria and is also on the overground, where a quick change at Canada Water has you on the Jubilee line. Or Lower Sydenham with lines onto Charing Cross.
