Description
Every so often, a house comes to market that instantly captures attention; this is that home. From the moment you arrive, the kerb appeal is exactly what you’d hope for, featuring a charming patio area at the front, a smart metal fence, and attractive green space beyond.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a central entrance hall, making everyday comings and goings effortless. The entire ground floor is laid with LVT flooring, combining style with practicality. The W/C is positioned directly ahead and is generously proportioned.
To the left, a spacious living room awaits, offering plenty of room for a large three-piece suite or a modern corner sofa while retaining character from the bay window. French doors at the rear allow light to flood in and provide a glimpse of the beautifully landscaped garden.
To the right of the hallway, the formal dining room is ideal for family gatherings and special occasions, yet its versatility allows it to function as a children’s playroom, snug, or home office. A bay window and an additional side window frame views over the surrounding green space, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen/diner family room serves as the hub for daily life and entertaining. The kitchen features classic white Shaker-style units paired with stunning granite worktops, giving it a premium feel. A five-ring gas hob and double eye-level oven make cooking effortless, while a built-in dishwasher and 50/50 fridge-freezer offer added convenience. Spotlights above illuminate the space beautifully.
The utility room, positioned just off the kitchen, houses the boiler and washing machine and includes a door leading directly to the garden, perfect for pets. Storage is plentiful, with a large cupboard ready for a hoover, ironing board, or other essentials.
The family area, currently arranged as a dining space, could easily accommodate a sofa, making it the ideal spot for children to play or relax while meals are prepared. Double doors lead straight to the garden, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.
The garden is a true highlight, combining style with functionality. A generous patio offers the perfect setting for outdoor dining or relaxing in the sun, while the lawn provides ample space for children to play or unwind. Its wrap-around design allows for discreet bin storage, with convenient access to both the driveway and garage, making it practical as well as beautiful.
Upstairs, four double bedrooms provide space, comfort, and style. The fourth bedroom is currently used as a dressing room with fitted wardrobes, while the third bedroom at the front of the house is spacious enough to accommodate a double bed, wardrobes, and a desk.
At the rear, the second bedroom enjoys peaceful views over the garden and surrounding fields and benefits from its own ensuite, offering privacy and independence. The principal bedroom is impressively large, with a super king-size bed fitting comfortably and a Juliet balcony for enjoying a summer breeze or observing the surroundings. Its fully tiled ensuite mirrors the high-quality finish found throughout the home’s bathrooms.
The family bathroom completes the first-floor layout with a deep bath featuring central taps, a glass-screened shower, and full-height tiling, blending elegance with practicality.
Parking is provided by a driveway that can accommodate three or more cars, alongside a single garage.
More about the location.....
For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.
Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.
Primary Schooling is provided by the surrounding villages and Secondary Schooling is provided by Cottesloe in Wing or Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham.
In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
