Tucked away down a quiet lane overlooking open fields on the outskirts of the sought after village of Winscombe is Ivy Cottage, a highly deceptive two/three bedroom detached bungalow of character.
The modern light and airy living accommodation has a flow and versatility, which takes full advantage of the fantastic gardens and the wonderful countryside views. Entering from the front though the entrance porch you are welcomed into a spacious front living room with a bay window and a further side aspect window. The living room is filled with character with wooden beams and a wood burner which helps to warm the home. The kitchen links into most of the rooms. There is a side aspect kitchen window, integrated dishwasher and fridge with the addition of an electric oven and hob with overhead hood. The kitchen is fitted with a selection of wall and base units and there is a larder cupboard. The conservatory benefits from doors at the front and rear and links the front to the rear garden. The principle bedroom is a rear aspect room and enjoys panoramic views of the garden. The main bedroom is dual aspect and also has the added benefit of built in wardrobes. The second bedroom is a rear aspect room and links into an occasional bedroom which offers a selection of uses which include but are not limited to becoming an en ensuite, dressing room or study. The bungalow is internally completed with a hallway that provides entry into a separate cloakroom with W/C and basin, into a hallway cupboard and into the family bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with a walk in shower, WC and basin.
Outside
The front is decorated with a selection of mature flowers and provides entry to the house, into the conservatory and into the garage. The garage is accessed via an up over door and benefits from lighting and power. The rear garden is fully enclosed and is mostly laid to lawn. There is a patio at the foot of the garden that takes in the panoramic countryside views. The garden is decorated with a selection of mature flowers, plants and trees. There is an additional side gate, shed and some raised beds. There is also access from the garden into the cellar where there is ample storage space and where the boiler can be found. The cellar benefits from power, lighting and space for white appliances.
