Description

A spacious, well-maintained two bedroom house for sale in the sought-after area of Leytonstone with exceptional local amenities and fantastic public transport. On the market chain-free, this attractive property offers contemporary decoration, period charm and stylish touches throughout.

Set on a quiet street with residents’ only on-street parking, the property has a small front garden leading to a large, glazed porch. Beyond the porch, the original front door leads to a bright hallway with high quality timber laminate flooring, which also extends to the two reception rooms.
The first reception room at the front of the property is a generous space with room for comfortable seating, your entertainment unit and storage/display furniture. The bay window brings in plenty of natural light and would make the ideal spot for a cosy reading nook.
Reception two would make an ideal multi-functional space for dining, home working and additional living space. There’s direct access from here to the garden through a fully glazed French window.
The large galley style kitchen has a good array of modern beech-effect cabinets with contrasting dark granite-effect worktops, plus an integrated fridge freezer and an inset smoked glass hob with oven and extractor. A wide window looks out to the side return of the rear garden and there’s also access to a large storage cellar.
Beyond the kitchen a small utility vestibule offers separation from the bathroom, along with plumbed-in space for a washing machine and access to the garden via a part-glazed door.
The bathroom has a modern three-piece suite with WC, wall-mounted basin and a bath tub with glazed screen and shower above. The walls are fully tiled and there’s space for free-standing storage.
The low-maintenance, south-facing garden is ideal for entertaining and features an attractive circular paved terrace area and mature shrubs.
To the first floor, the landing has built-in storage and a south-facing window which floods the space with natural light.
There are two bedrooms; a small double looking out over the rear garden and a generous double spanning the full width of the property and offering space for a comfy double bed, wardrobes and additional storage furniture. Both bedrooms have high-quality laminate flooring and are decorated in a simple, modern style with light coloured walls and contrasting dark timber trim.
Leytonstone offers exceptional local amenities, including the independent shops and services on Leytonstone High Road, as well as nearby supermarkets and retail parks. The area is also well served by public transport, being equidistant to Leytonstone and Leyton Central Line stations and just a five-minute walk to Leytonstone High Road overground station. Leytonstone also offers a choice of good schools including the Mayville primary school, just around the corner, which caters for nursery through to year six.
Leytonstone Leisure centre, with its gym, swimming pool and fitness classes is just two minutes away and some of London’s best green spaces are also close by including Wanstead Flats, Hackney Marshes and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
What the seller has to say
England. Company registration number: 3646895
My house is located on a quiet street near Overground Leytonstone high road and at walking distance to Leyton and Leytonstone Underground stations. Stratford Westfield shopping mall is just a train or bus ride away even on foot. I have been living here for 14 years and love the area as it is very close to Leytonstone high road with lots of shops, pubs and cafes, nearby parks and ponds. Leytonstone Leisure Centre is only 2 mins walk. There are lot’s of activities whole year round for individuals and families to enjoy such Leytonstone Festival, Leytonstone Art Trail and many more.
I love my house, it is peaceful especially on a sunny day having breakfast in the dining room sets the positive tone for the day for me. The master bedroom is spacious and gets lovely late afternoon blissful sunlight. The house has a bathroom extension unlike my neighbours with similar layout plans which sets it apart. It has been enough for me as it is but has a loft conversion potential. When I moved in, I fully renovated the bathroom, replaced the old combi and old wooden kitchen/garden door.
Due to family situations I have to move abroad otherwise I would not consider selling it. I wish the new owner will enjoy this lovely home as much as I have.
