Situation

The ancient parish of Wanstrow is situated midway between Shepton Mallet and Frome on the eastern fringes of the Mendip Hills with population of around 500. A charming village as a walk along the High Street, from the church at one end to the bridges at the other, will demonstrate. Wanstrow has many points of historic note including the potteries, its church, manor, school, turnpike, and railway. There is fantastic access to local schools, including Upton Noble Primary School which is serviced by a free local bus service. The village is also the birthplace of Joseph Harding who is credited with having invented the formula for producing cheddar cheese, and is fondly referred to as the 'Father of Cheddar Cheese'. The local pub is a popular watering hole at the centre of the community. A short drive from the villages puts you in Frome where you have a wide range of supermarkets, public houses, theatres, schools, college and a sports centre as you would expect. Frome is well known for its weekly markets and its monthly artisan market on a Sunday which draws people from all around. The property is also within easy touching distance of Bruton, which is renowned for its excellent schools and quaint character streets.

About Forest Marble, Frome

4 Harris Close, Elworthy Park, Frome, BA11 5JY
Industry affiliations:Industry affiliation logo 0

Daisy and Will came up with the concept for Forest Marble having felt there was a huge gap in the estate agency market between High Street and Online agencies. Albeit both are an acceptable way of marketing your home, they both miss the point of putting the customers needs at the centre of what they do.

Modern day living means the consumer is used to getting answers to questions straight away, or they start to lose interest. This is why it was decided early on to be open and available to talk to one of our team 24/7. We are all exposed daily to a host of modern technological break throughs that improve efficiency and lessen disappointment. With this in mind we made the back office system completely cloud based, that way all of our team have access to the latest information where ever they are, thus saving time and money for our customers. However, should customers wish to visit our office they are free to do so 7 days a week.

We also have implemented this into our unique marketing techniques with our interactive virtual tours at the fore front of modern estate agency technologies. All of this for no upfront fees and only paying us if we successfully sell your home. We get asked by everyone why "Forest Marble", the answer is quite simple it is a local stone and many people throughout the areas we cover will find their own homes built on top of Forest Marble.
