Hope they can also respect someone who affraid dog. It is also a discriminate if no rule for the pet owner.
I think the matching process can be more detail. I am living in 4 bedrooms flat, there are 3 people including me, and we all love cooking.
Not enough space of refrigerator, waiting too long for the kitchen.
One of my flatmate love to bring her boyfirend to live with her during the weekend. They love cooking and used the kitchen very long time.
And I request female room,,so I am not expect a male live with me, even just in weekend.
I thing the charge memebrship fee is ok, can aviod rebuse the area, but should be reduce the price, expensive now.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I know there allow small pet. But I actually very very afraid dog, I just hope everyone can hold the dog when they in the building, except their own flat, especially in the lift.
Building management never notice the tenant about the manner if they have small, pets.
The dog is not allowed enter to BASE, but I see them in the memebership Lounge. I wonder the dogs must walk through the BASE and go into the Lounge,.Two tenant do not hokd the dogs and let them run in the Lounge .
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
respone email, quick, but the action is slow. Not yet repair the micorowaves, just send a temporary one for use. but we are 3 people are living here, no more space.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The matching process should included the question about the pets. someone may afraid dogs or cats. and at least dont let them live in the same floor.

Enjoy Living Here
The design could be worked on in terms of the beds up against the wall with one nightstand. It's difficult to make the bed. A dresser would be advantageous and closets a bit bigger. I used the facilities on 1st floor until they blocked it off and created Union + at a fee . I don't have a need for the gym, work spaces or bar but upon my first moving in here I did check these out and had no complaints. Property Management is on top of issues from what I've seen.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I'm doing this review for the second time since my arrival April 2024. Location is perfect! Surrounded by various restaurants, shops, free bus route, Aviva, Science Museum, markets, First Street and much more! Wish I could stay!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Had an issue with my bedroom door sticking, bedroom bed sqeeking lifting up and down, toilet leaking underneath, leak in ceiling at entrance door and these matters were all addressed immediately. Tom is the best and responds directly and promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Good - love the location as a person involved in the Arts having Aviva right next door is great! Enjoy the Market every Saturday at Campfield

Dirty communal areas, unbothered staff
Small spaces, cannot open bathroom door if your front door is open. The shower has no door so water gets all over the floor. There is constantly loud construction even at early times. The views aren’t great despite the high viewpoint. There isn’t enough kitchen cupboard space.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Please clean the lift doors on the third floor. There is some horrid muck on them. I’ve reported it to the reception staff three times now (three different people) and they always say they’ll sort it. But months later it is still there.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They lie about helping but never actually do anything to help
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The internet is very poor. They constantly change the password so it’s difficult to access but even when you’re in you lose connection.

Union.
I’ve had some problems with the flat matching, and I don’t feel that the staff were quick enough to respond. Whilst they were empathetic, I was given advice to lock myself in my room away from my flatmate and it took over 2 weeks to be moved away from her, which I don’t feel is sufficient when one of Union’s main selling points is their flatmatching, and priding themselves on their community. Other than this, I’ve had a great experience here. I’d be keen to stay if we could be offered an entire flat with our friends, but appreciate that’s difficult given how popular the building is. The bar is the stand out, particularly the bar staff: Vanessa, Joe, Alex, Marcella, Dec, and Stella are all so lovely and an absolute pleasure. Sam on reception is also so lovely and friendly, and makes the building feel like a home. The cleanliness is a slight downfall, the cleaners do not sufficiently or regularly clean the communal spaces.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good location with a range of restaurant, bars and shops available in walking distance. Little traffic noise heard from the rooms, although I am on 31st floor, but minimal disturbance. There’s great bus and rail access.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Not very well. Repairs are slow, it took my toilet seat nearly 3 weeks to be replaced. My flatmate threw things at my head and it took over 2 weeks to be moved away from someone that was violent, despite having an independent witness to this and my flatmate admitting it.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish they would be more transparent with the fact that they won’t move you quickly, you really have to self advocate to be moved. It’s an uphill battle and if you’re not confident or persistent they would encourage you to stay where you are.

Great place to live
The design is okay and thought out. Base being on the first floor is a god send. I live in the west tower so it would be beneficial to have some bin chutes like east, however its not too much of an issue. It would also be beneficial to have another laundry area in both towers as they get taken up quickly
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is amazing, 10mins walk to anywhere around the city centre. lots of bars, restaurants around
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I’ve not yet had any issues so I have yet to experience the management
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing comes to mind, they take you around and tell you most things. I think the events should be advertised more/made more accessible , thats one area which I would like to know.
