OWNERS INSIGHT
"I’ve owned this property for over 40 years. It began life as a stable that I bought to use as a store, then lovingly converted into a comfortable dwelling 22 years ago. I’ve loved living here because it’s so close to Babbacombe Downs, with its beautiful coastal walks, as well as handy for local shops, the theatre, and the famous Hanbury’s Fish & Chip shop. The neighbours are kind and considerate, and the setting is pleasantly quiet and peaceful without feeling remote. I’m moving only to eliminate stairs as I get older, but will be staying local because I truly love the area."
STEP INSIDE
From the covered entrance a half glazed front door opens to the HALLWAY with sliding doors opening to the DOUBLE BEDROOM with window overlooking the front approach. Walk-in wardrobe and further understairs storage cupboard. EN-SUITE with corner shower cubicle with electric shower fitted, wash basin with large wall mirror over and WC. Fully tiled walls and extractor fan. From the hallway stairs rise to the SITTING/DINING ROOM overlooking the front approach, characterful beamed ceiling and secure intercom system. A step leads up to the KITCHEN which is fitted with a range of units and granite effect work tops with inset sink. Built-in diplomat electric oven with electric hob over and cooker hood above, integrated fridge. Cupboard housing the hot water cylinder and provisions for washing machine. Tiled effect floor and high rise window to the rear.
STEP OUTSIDE
Outside the front door is a small, covered paved area for small table and chair with planter and mature wisteria overhead. There is no parking with this property but a public car park is situated just around the corner.
