Leesthorpe is a small rural hamlet in north-east Leicestershire, located within the civil parish of Somerby in the Melton district, close to the border with Rutland and just south of the A606 between Melton Mowbray and Oakham. The hamlet has a long history, having been recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Luvestorp.
