Description

Atlas is a stylish detached contemporary 5 bedroom home with delightful panoramic harbour and tree top views from this elevated location. The home has been remodelled and refitted from 2015 by the present owners for their own occupation, taking time to design and source all the elements to ensure the perfect fusion. The interaction between internal accommodation and external areas has been thoughtfully planned to maximize access and flow between the two, and of course to incorporate the wonderful views from as many places as possible. The property is set over 4 floors with a double garage and lift access from the ground floor and living accommodation on the other floors. The idea is that you can open the gates from the car, drive into the garage and go up to the first floor with all your shopping, without having to step outside. The internal lift was added in 2023 by Dorset lifts, from the ground floor to the second floor with stairs to the top (third) floor dedicated to an entertaining room which has a bar and a generous 38’ x 19’ L-shaped composite deck that affords fabulous views. This naturally has a variety of potential uses such as a cinema room or lounge if so desired. There are five bedrooms with fitted wardrobes or walk-in dressing areas and four bathrooms (3 en suite) affording luxury at all levels. Three of the bedrooms benefit from views, in particular the first floor master bedroom which was designed in American walnut and enjoys a glass Juliet balcony. The fourth bedroom has doors leading to the covered courtyard area where there is a living wall and has an irrigation system to keep it watered. The kitchen is fitted in stylish units including a concealed walk-in larder with clean contemporary lines and all expected extras. The extensive range of integrated Miele appliances include a variety of ovens, gas hob with pop-up extractor, large wine cooler, and substantial fridge and freezer. The focal point of the main living space is an impressive contemporary fireplace inset to the wall with a stylish surround and real flame log effect gas fire. As you would expect, this room enjoys the spectacular views with extra width double glazed sliding doors opening to the front with a frameless glass Juliette balcony. Outside the rear garden area is a delightful relaxing or entertaining space, comprising various composite decks on different levels separated by stunning frameless glass balustrades. One level has a superb Hydropool with swim-jets and in-built Jacuzzi. The home is now vacant and sold with no forward chain

About Hearnes Estate Agents, Poole

18-20 Parkstone Road, Poole, BH15 2PG

Who Are We?

Hearnes Estate Agents was set up in 1996 by Lyndon Le Boutillier and Lynda Hearne. Lyndon had been working in Estate Agency since 1982 and Lynda had been working in a customer service industry. They decided to open their own office in Bournemouth Town Centre after researching the local market. As committed Christians they believe their clients deserve a standard of service which was both ethical and effective. "We always endeavour to understand our clients' real needs and fulfil them in a way they have every right to expect. We expect them to judge us on how well we achieve these aims."

The business grew quickly and they married in 1998 and opened their second office in Ferndown shortly after. This was followed by an office in Ringwood. In 2006, just before the birth of their fourth child, Lyndon had a skiing accident which meant an 18 months' recovery. The Bournemouth Office was sold to a leading international estate agent during this time.

Sally Gravener and Anthony Holtom then bought into the company in 2010 as Shareholders and Directors, running the Ringwood Branch. They brought with them a huge wealth of experience and local knowledge. In 2013 we moved back into Bournemouth town centre and the original Hearnes site was re-opened by Sally.

Alan Gosgrove in Wimborne was then incorporated by Hearnes, who rebranded it in 2014 with Mark Stylianou joining as a Shareholder and Director.

All the directors of Hearnes believe in giving excellent customer service and being the best they can be. From the start, they set out to change people's perceptions of estate agency; to prove that friendliness and professionalism can go hand in hand; to be open and straightforward and always be ready to help; to be responsive and accountable and live up to every promise they make.
