Ossett is a market town (market run Tuesdays and Friday) in the City of Wakefield Metropolitan District of West Yorkshire. It is located just off junction 40 of the M1 carriageway and approximately 4 miles West of Wakefield and has a central bus station serving the surrounding villages, towns and cities.
